In Amrabad Tiger Reserve, fruit bearing plantations are being carried out in order to increase the green cover and to fill the gaps in the forests.  Maintenance and regular monitoring such as removal of weeds, Soil working, are done to protect plantations.

The objective of plantations

1. To enhance greencover
   
   
2. To ensure greencover in internal corridors for movement of tiger and thus prevent any possible man-animal conflict
   
   
3. To enhance Carbon sequestration capabilities and thus effectively combat climate change
