Pre-& Soft Release of Mouse deer

IUCN guidelines for reintroductions and other conservation translocations - followed as per the pre-& soft release protocol.
In collaboration with CCMB.
Reintroduction: The Pre-Soft Releasing of Mouse deer started on 12.09.17. Till now, 16 mouse deer batches monitored and released into the wild habitat. Summer months avoided.
Ideal ratio of male: female- 2:6.
The animal’s night time activity is monitored daily with 8 Nos of CC Cameras and 24 Nos trap cameras inside and outside the enclosure
